McAuley Community Services for Women helps women and children who have faced family violence and homelessness to take control of their lives. Through a range of supports including accommodation legal health recreation and social responses we support women to leave us with restored capacity and greater opportunities for safe housing economic capability and wellbeing. We work alongside women and children recognising their strengths and fostering their resilience to create a new future.

About the role:

Step into a pivotal role at the heart of the Safe at Home project where your organisational skills and proactive mindset will help shape the success of an exciting and impactful trial.

As the Safe at Home Administrator youll be the engine behind the scenesbringing people together keeping projects on track and ensuring every detail is executed with precision. From coordinating key meetings and workshops to preparing high-quality briefing papers and capturing insightful minutes youll keep the team aligned and informed.

Youll also manage timelines track progress through quarterly reports and make sure action items turn into accomplishments. Reporting directly to the Safe at Home Manager youll be a vital contributor to the success of the broader Safe at Home initiative.

This is a Permanent Part-Time (22.8 hours per week) opportunity based in Footscray and reports to our McAuley Program Manager Safe at Home.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible to work proactively and cooperatively in a small team and to build productive working relationships.
  • A relevant qualification in business or administration and/or relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of two years experience in an administration role.
