Accountability & Responsibility:
- Comply and Maintain Syngenta HSE policy global HSE guidelines and site HSE protocols for own and shopfloor team
- Report any incident near miss hazard unsafe acts & observation and consult with your supervisor on any safety related matters
- Comply and maintain Syngenta Quality policy and Global Q-CoP guidelines with a consistent emphasis on quality as a key enabler to deliver customer value.
- Generate and issue instructions to the factory shop floor and facilitate execution of production instructions by allocating appropriate resources.
- Prepare cascade and execute production plans and adjust operational activities by situation assessment according to available information and resources for optimum production performance (manpower material and machine) and production attainment.
- Plan coordinate and follow-up maintenance activities viz. routine periodic maintenance and Changeover / shutdown activities.
- Control cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products.
- Ensure product and process compliance and adherence to Syngenta CoP
- Measure analyses and control line performance and labor variance by using available systems / tools.
- Measure analyses and control material usage variance (raw / pack materials and energy) by using available system / tools.
- Review process failures and execute continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities accessing proposals and implementation.
- Review and feedback to direct reports of their performance against their principal accountabilities and behavioral competencies
- Handle conflicts (if any) Professionally
- Conduct trainings workshops and shopfloor and peer capability development programs
- Maintains professional and collaborative relationship with internal/External stakeholders employees union (CBA).
- Deliver continuous improvement projects as assigned
Qualifications :
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
Critical Experience :
- 7 years experience in manufacturing functions in Chemical & FMCG industry
- Should have exposure handle shop floor people and shift operation

- Good communication skills for collaboration with multiple stakeholders and colleagues from different cultures regions educational backgrounds functional areas hierarchy levels and ways of working.
- Self-driven individual with high level of energy pro-active management style independent and with strong initiative getting things done effectively and quickly.
- Someone who builds networks across the organization with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse people
- Someone who able to drive change work independently and set own priorities
- Strong analytical skills results oriented innovative and creative strong problem-solving skills.
