Job Description

The TMS Financial Analyst is responsible for budgeting forecasting and financial reporting & analysis.  The role works closely with the Finance & Accounting team and supports the FP&A Director in managing the function and all related deliverables.

In addition the financial analyst is key member of the new business capture and supporting Bid & Proposal pricing efforts in compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and prepare accurate timely and complete monthly quarterly and year end reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budget within schedule.
  • Monitor actual Region performance against agreed upon plan and provide analysis on deviations.
  • Analyze General & Administrative expenditures to be in line with budget KPIs and compliance with General Affairs Policy and procedures.
  • Be proactive in identifying any risks / opportunities vs. plan working closely with the respective Business / Function leaders.
  • Assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial information and reports for statutory and management purposes.
  • Support new business capture efforts by preparing or reviewing pricing models in accordance with the proposal requirements and US Government / Other Government entity regulations as applicable.

 

 

 


Qualifications :

Required Skills and Knowledge 

  • Proactive with a can-do attitude

  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Be independent and firm at the same time a team player
  • IT Capability: Strong knowledge in Excel Oracle MS Dynamics and Cognos preferred

  • Build partnerships with internal stakeholders and peers in accounting and finance
  • Highly analytical with proven ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and find creative solutions to challenges
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and business demands

Required Work Experience 

  • 1 years of experience within an FP&A function
  • Experience in Government contracting a plus
  • IntlSOS is a Multinational Company experience in a fast-paced service environment

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel background including pivot tables and complex formulas

Required Languages 

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Travel / Rotation Requirements 

  • Some travel required

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
