Multilingual Learner TeacherResponsibilities will include: Planning developing and implementing instruction in English as a Second Language in a self-contained setting and in mainstream instruction to newcomer groups in Math and with mainstream teachers in push-in a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources geared specifically towards ELL as a team member sharing common planning professional development curriculum design and teaching student assessments and planning instruction for students based on the data from the assessments. Specifically understanding how to use WIDA (Massachusetts English Language proficiency standards) in order to differentiate instruction for students at different language proficiency levelsBeing an active member of the schools Language Assessment teamFacilitating and participating in Transition meetings for students who meet the minimum expectations for leaving ELL school based meetings as needed and pertinent English Language Learner professional development necessary paperwork regarding the identification progress monitoring and transitioning of English Language Learners in each support and sharing information with school staff on ESL/ELL :182 school days in accordance with the Randolph Education Association (REA) collective bargaining agreementResponsibilities will include: Planning developing and implementing instruction in English as a Second Language in a self-contained setting. Administering student assessments and planning instruction for students based on the data from the assessments. Specifically understanding how to use WIDA (Massachusetts English Language proficiency standards) in order to differentiate instruction for students at different language proficiency levels Being an active member of the schools Language Assessment team Facilitating and participating in Transition meetings for students who meet the minimum expectations for leaving ELL services. Attending school based meetings as needed and pertinent English Language Learner professional development sessions. Completing necessary paperwork regarding the identification progress monitoring and transitioning of English Language Learners in each school. Providing support and sharing information with school staff on ESL/ELL :182 school days in accordance with the Randolph Education Association (REA) collective bargaining agreementSalary placement will be consistent with REA salary schedule.
