Job Description

Job Description
We are looking for fun and energetic Assistant Teachersfor our school.
This position is also responsible for:
- Preparing morning and afternoon snack
- Ensuring kitchen is in compliance with Goddards industry-leading Quality Assurance standards
- Assisting classroom teachers
Daily Responsibilities
Our Assistant Teachers work together with lead teachers to:
Meeting the individualneeds of the children
Parent communication
Participation in staff and training meetings
Interacting with the children to support play exploration and learning
Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the childs age and developmental level
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Building teamwork
Committing to continuing education

Job Requirements
Available between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Teacher Qualifications:
- Minimum of MSDE-OCS Teacher requirements (45- 90 hour training) prefered
- Prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
