Description

Dr. Han Do is looking for an experienced and dedicated Dental Front Office Coordinator to join his team. This position plays an essential role in the oral healthcare of our patients as well as the financial health of the practice. The primary role of the Dental Front Office Coordinator is to partner with clinicians to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience for our patients while maintaining a financially viable practice.


In this role the Dental Front Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our patients and will set the tone for their experience. They maintain productive schedules verify patient insurance information and collect all co-pays at checkout.


What Youll Be Accountable For:

  • Greet and check in all patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain productive schedules and confirm appointments.
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Gain financial commitment from patients and collect co-payments.
  • Present treatment plans and educate patients on their benefits.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as State Federal and other regulatory bodies.
  • Respond to patient billing treatment and benefit inquiries.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the office manager.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: $20-$25/hr depending on experience (plus benefits)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year dental office experience with 2 years preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Patient advocate; empathetic adaptable and ethical
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
