Currently we are looking forThe Medical Manager Oncologywho willact as Therapy Area medical expert working in partnership withHealthcare Professionals in activities that help advance disease and therapeutics understandingandAZ business colleagues to provide medical insight and governance to deliver cross-functional brand team operational plans
KeyResult Areas:
1.Scientific Information Management and Dissemination:
Share emerging data with HCPs discussing all aspects of the data in a scientific objective and balanced way.
Respond to unsolicited requests for information about unapproved AZ products or unapproved uses of approved products presenting such information in an objective well balanced substantiated manner that is scientific in tone and content free of promotional messages truthful and is not misleading.
2.Contribution to Brand Strategy by supporting cross-functional team(s):
Keep him/herself up to date in therapeutic area and product knowledge (including competitors)
ProvideAZ with an understanding of the local medical community clinical practice trends HCP and patient insight and real or perceived gaps in current scientific knowledge and medicaltreatment
3.Facilitate Local Clinical Research
4.Medical Affairs & Compliance
Leads the defence or challenge of local Code of Practice cases.
Identifies and briefs external speakers for national AZ symposia
Delivers local medical communication & publication plan
Experience:
Bachelors degree in medicine
Currentfamiliarity with healthcare environment (oncology) including opinion leaders academia the medical community patient needs and relateddynamics.
Demonstratedexpertise in synthesizing scientific information and communicating it effectively at peer level withHCPs
Effectiveand demonstrated communication skills (both oral and written) includingEnglish.
Goodproject and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a self-directedmanner.
Excellentinterpersonal leadership and teamworkskills.
