The Randolph High School Physical Education & Health/Wellness teacher will facilitate student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implement district approved curriculum documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students parents and administration regarding student progress expectations and ideal candidate will:-Collaborate with school personnel parents and various community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes developing solutions and planning curriculum.-Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.-Promote equity and appreciation of diversity-Maintain classroom management-Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement-Plan and deliver effective instruction-Execute the subject matter knowledge requirements specific for Physical Education & Health Wellness Teachers including:creating varied and engaging tasks projects and presentations that students in high school can successfully accomplish;developing age-appropriate standards-based lesson and unit plans for a range of ages grades and student abilities;developing in each pupil an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise;motivating each pupil to cultivate physical fitness health and wellness hygienic habits and good social and emotional adjustment;discovering and developing talents of students in physical achievement; developing strength skill agility poise and coordination in individual dual and team physical activities and sports in accordance with each pupils ability.
