Job Description
Job Title: VPK Assistant Teacher
Location: Valrico Florida
Job Type: Full-Time (School-Year 10-Month Position)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (7:00 am to 3:30 pm MondayFriday)
Start Date for Position: August 1 2025

We are seeking a VPK Assistant Teacher to join our team at our School for Limitless Learning in Valrico Florida! Our inclusive school uses a play-based curriculum to support young children who are neurodiverse or have related disabilities during their critical developmental years.

Responsibilities:
Support a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Assist with lesson planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum
Supervise children to ensure health and safety at all times
Maintain positive and effective communication with families
Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff members
Assist in screening and assessing childrens development and learning needs
Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Preferred: Florida Staff Credentials
Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC)
Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC)
National CDA/NECC
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
Completion of Florida DCF 45-hour Child Care Training
CPR and First Aid Certification (current)
