Job Description
Team Red Dog is looking for a Program Manager to support a high-profile security and networking team within one of our clients product groups. This role is ideal for candidates with experience driving large-scale technical initiatives across multiple teams with a strong understanding of security AI and software engineering. This position offers excellent visibility and cross-team collaboration opportunities supporting P0 priority items that are critical to the organizations enterprise services.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
- Large-Scale Product Experience 5 years of experience supporting and managing large-scale products and initiatives across a complex organization.
- Cross-Organization Collaboration 5 years of experience driving projects that require coordination with large groups across multiple service teams and stakeholders.
- Technical & Security Knowledge 5 years of experience with software engineering security concepts and working knowledge of AI; experience with reporting and data analysis using Power BI and SQL.
Opportunity Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world renowned global technology organizations most highly visible and mission-critical initiatives. The team focuses on security networking and incident management at scale working across 150 service teams. This role will allow you to leverage your technical expertise and program management skills to drive initiatives forward and ensure alignment across a large and complex organizational landscape.
How you will make an impact:
- Drive program/project schedules and status reporting across large-scale initiatives.
- Collaborate with external and internal teams (60% external / 40% internal collaboration split).
- Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery.
- Create and review functional specifications to support decision-making on product and service implementation.
- Provide technical and analytical information to Product Managers and Product Unit Managers.
- Organize and manage cross-functional activities to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Assist with incident management and escalation processes within the team.
- Collect inputs and follow-ups across the organization and generate reports for leadership.
- Build reports and visualizations using Power BI and SQL; contribute to basic AI-based reporting or automation initiatives.
The expertise you bring:
- 57 years of relevant program management experience within a technical or software engineering environment.
- Strong background in security software engineering and AI concepts.
- Experience with Power BI and SQL reporting.
- Engineering degree required (or equivalent experience with a strong technical background).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
- Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments is a plus.
- Microsoft experience is preferred.
