The Company & The Role
This large and respectable mid-tier firm in Brisbane has just got a new opening in their team at supervisory level.
You will be working closely with the Manager and the Director in the team and you will be responsible for mentoring and training more junior staff. You will have exposure to local and international clients and be responsible for delivering a full range of accounting and business advisory services.
Further Duties
Prepare management accounting reports for review including commentary for key stakeholders
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory accounting & financial reporting standards
- Supervise & review the work of junior staff on required projects
- Review appropriate Tax & FBT returns for compliance
- Manage tax planning & tax returns for clients
- Prepare Business Activity Statements and quarterly & annual tax compliance matters
- Advise clients in relation to business operations & regulatory matter
The Applicant
- 3-5 years experience in Business Advisory & Tax
- A university degree in relevant field (Accounting Finance or similar)
- CA qualification in place or in the process of completing
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Attitude career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
