Job Description

Clinical Pharmacist

Fast-paced high volume Pharmacy Department is looking for top skilled Clinical Pharmacists. Is that you

Position highlights:

Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort. Worth TX 76104

Hours: 6:30am-3pm 7am-3:30pm 10:15am-6:45pm 12:30pm-9pm 1:30pm-10pm

Every 3rd weekend some overnights some holidays

Academic program includes interprofessional teaching services (internal medicine cardiology surgical/trauma critical care) PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency programs and student precepting.

Heres What You Need

Bachelors Degree Pharmacy Required

Other Pharm D. Required

CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.

PHAR- Pharmacist upon hire required.

3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.

Highly preferred PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence)

Experience working in an inpatient acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred.

IV certification highly preferred

Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills computer proficient and possess basic math skills.

What You Will Do

Communicating effectively building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

Ensuring the accuracy of ones own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the departments quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.

Ongoing professional development and growth.

Not only the management of ones own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

Other duties as assigned.
