Compensation & Perks
- Pay:$25.00 per hour based on experience
- Quarterly Bonus Potential your work is noticed and rewarded

What Youll Do
This role is hands-on resident-facing and essential to the daily operations of our community:
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical and appliances
- Turn units quickly and efficiently painting drywall repairs and cleaning
- Ensure building systems are safe compliant and in great condition
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Communicate with students and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked maintenance shop
- Uphold OSHA standards and all safety procedures
What You Bring
- 2 years of maintenance experience preferably in student housing or multifamily
- Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and carpentry
- EPA Certification a plus (but not required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work both indoors and outdoors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus we proudly serve a diverse student body
- Familiarity with maintenance ticketing systems (mobile preferred)
- Valid drivers license & reliable transportation
- Must be able to respond to emergencies and live within 30 minutes of NJIT
