Job Description

We are looking for Accountant for a 6-month contract position with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
The Accountant will ensure accurate recording and timely payment of supplier invoices manage the invoicing process and oversee accounts receivable paymentsensuring compliance with Belgian and international accounting standards and maintaining reliable financial data.
Schedule
Full time job from Monday till Thursday from 8:30 till 16:30 on Friday from 8:30 till 16:00.
Specific
The Accountant is responsible for:
Key accountabilities
Receivables
Monthly invoice: enter data from all departments
Create & control the direct debit file and send it to the bank
Financial aid (re. scholarship) gather financial information (salary income tax returns etc.)
Receipts for payments following the requests
Invoices related to Application tuition bus fees
Payables
Expense reimbursement sheets: control the supporting document; enter it in the system
Bus Monitors: Control & enter it in the system
Payment: Exp. reimbursement sheet Bus Monitors
Cash & card advance: control the supporting document; enter it in the system
Green number (Preregistration of all invoices in NAV for approval)
Visa statements (check receipts and record in NAV)
Cash management
Manage bank and credit cards
Coda / manual entries from banks
General Ledge

Employment Status
The Accountant will have an ISB contract. If candidate is not EU member s/he needs to have a valid work permit.
