Job Description
We are currently seeking a BSCE candidate for a Construction Project Coordinator position. Candidate will be assigned to a project in PRs Eastern region.
The Construction Project Coordinator will assist the construction project manager and team with the coordination and observation of construction processes. Tasks involve monitoring and assisting in project plans schedule work hours budgets expenditures organizing and participating in meetings and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work to be done ensuring optimal communication between contractors clients and team.
- Monitor projects progress and create project status reports.
- Ensure project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Monitor and inspect project sites for compliance with safety regulations and report any non-compliance.
- Ensure compliance with specifications drawings and standards.
- Attend meetings and assist in minutes preparation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is a must.
- 5 years of experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and English
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
- General Management of MS Office Tools (Word Excel Power Point)
