In this role you will serve as the cornerstone of our Basis of Design (BOD) program influencing how we document and manage technical standards across our global fleet of data centers. Youll work with internal and external teams to define review and release critical documentation that guides our infrastructure development. As an owner youll ensure our technical standards evolve to meet emerging needs while maintaining consistency across our rapidly growing infrastructure footprint.
Primary responsibilities include managing the end-to-end BOD release cycle coordinating cross-functional reviews and developing scalable processes for document management. Youll collaborate with engineering teams to capture design improvements and ensure technical requirements are clearly documented. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the quality and accessibility of our technical standards.

- Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or equivalent
- 3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- 3 years of technical product or program management experience. 3 years of analytical quantitative communication and presentations experience
- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management
- Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
- Experience with MS Project MS Office and MS Sharepoint
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
