Certified Surgical Technologist
Shift: Full Time Monday-Friday call required

As a Certified Surgical Technologist at Turkey Creek Medical Center youll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Qualifications
- Technical School certificate course in Surgical Technology required
- 15 continuing education hours related to the practice of surgical technology must be maintained annually to continue employment. This is tracked within the department by management from documentation provided by the Surgical Technician employee.
- 1-3 years of operating room surgical technician experience required
- 1-2 years of lead surgical technician responsibilities preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist required- NBSTSA
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation within three (3) months of hire and must be maintained required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
About the Job:
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
