As a Director Business Planning & Analysis supporting the US Contact Lens teams you will be trusted with long-term business strategy & planning work focused on facilitating and developing the organizations medium and long-term goals at Fort Worth TX. In this role a typical day will include:
Identifying growth opportunities business model innovation and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives.
Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger acquisition divestment partnership and joint venture opportunities.
Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership.
Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions.
Review corporate governance balanced score card performance and participate in the annual business planning cycle.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 18 yrs; Assoc.14 yrs; M.S.7 yrs; PhD6 yrs)
The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English.
10 Years of Relevant Experience
6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
Preferred requirements:
CPA or CMA
Prior leadership experience.
Strong financial background including commercial experience.
Excellent analytical and communication skills (incl. ability to synthesize simplify and convey story/messages concisely).
Ability influence key stakeholders with different interests/disciplines and see big picture.
Ability to manage complexity and simplify/standardize outcomes.
