The impact you will have:

The Public SectorSales Supervisorrole is a great opportunity for our own Softchoice seasoned sales professionalsto flex their leadership skills by taking on the responsibility and challenge of developing leading and mentoring Account Executives.

TheSales Supervisorwill lead a team of 4-6 Account Executives and will be responsible for their quota along with individually owning some strategic buying accounts of their own.

This role is hybrid with the expectation of working in the Chicago office 1-2 days per week.

What youll do:

  • Coach and develop a team ofAEs reporting into a Public Sales Leader and support the development of individual development plan for AEs under your Supervision
  • Support new AEs throughout their onboarding into the team
  • Work with the AEs to develop and maintain a high-performing culture of diversity and inclusion
  • Expose AEs to different parts of their business and mentor to diversify the business
  • Develop creative ways to support and grow AEs
  • Achieve teams sales targets by ensuring the majority of reps are performing over plan
  • Coach by participating in customer engagement via teleconference and training sessions
  • Drive sales activities that will generate Pipeline opportunities
  • Act as an escalation point both internally and externally to continue to improve customer experience
  • Tightly manage a 30 60 and 90-day forecast.
  • Escalate and engage in performance related issues with TSM as appropriate
  • Develop & execute against a strong daily/weekly/monthly management process
  • Meet weekly with AEs in order to move the business forward
  • Set up team meetings and trainings in order to keep sales representatives engaged and productive
  • Create and monitor a cadence for KPIs that are relevant to CAM success
  • Create and maintain channels for feedback and reviews
  • Create and implement business strategy to expand customer footprint revenue and profit
  • Monitor industry trends and message that to the team when applicable.
  • Align with relevant vendors to drive market growth and ensure support for AEs
  • Identify key contract opportunities within the specified market
  • Develop planning for strategic accounts in order to win and diversify business
  • Identify gaps in the business to improve processes and footprint where possible
  • Manage an existing book of business that contributes to the overall plan attainment of the team.
  • Maintain a strong communication plan and excellent customer experience for remaining book of business
  • Utilize and internal resources to handle day-to-day activities that can be offloaded
  • Drive growth for a handful of strategic accounts
  • Lead by example by continuing to prospect with insights following the Challenger viewpoint
  • Develop plans to transition accounts to continue to maintain a slim robust book of business

What youll bring to the table:

  • Experience in Public Sector Sales required
  • 3 years sales experience in tech sales
  • Have experience building successful and high performing teams (open to informal leadership)
  • Are confident in creating pitching and perfecting customer-facing messaging
  • Proven capacity to deliver measurable impact be analytical and consistently meet quota
  • Are creative thinkers and problem solvers with strong presentations skills
  • Are self-managed and motivated with strong leaderships skills
  • Excellent written oral and digital communication skills
  • Have demonstrated the ability to Lead through Influence
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred
