BURNCO is looking for a driven and experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This full-time role based at our Calgary head office supports recruitment across our North American operations in Western Canada Texas and Colorado. Youll play a critical part in attracting top talent across corporate and operational functions helping us build strong teams and supporting organizational growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for corporate field and senior operational roles across Canada and the US.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and hiring needs.

  • Craft compelling job postings and employer branding content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn Indeed etc.).

  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Utilize UKG Pro Recruitment & Onboarding modules along with background check tools (Certn SureHire Xref).

  • Balance candidate experience with hiring efficiency while maintaining a consultative relationship with internal stakeholders.

  • Analyze recruitment data and metrics to improve process efficiency and hiring quality.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

  • Represent BURNCO at industry events and support recruitment-related travel across Western Canada and the US if required.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU

  • 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience ideally in transportation construction or manufacturing.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities; you know where talent lives and how to engage them.

  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms like UKG (UltiPro) or similar systems.

  • Proficiency with social recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn Indeed Zip Recruiter etc.).

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; proven ability to guide hiring decisions.

  • Organized detail-oriented proactive and adaptable in managing multiple priorities.

  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in MS Office (Outlook Excel PowerPoint).
