About the role

Its an exciting time to join one of the leading non-bank lenders in Australia as we embark on ambitious growth plans across Australia. Propel your career to new heights as Business Development Manager promoting our home loan offerings within the broker market! This role will see you uncover broker needs and proactively educate brokers on the benefits of working with Bluestone.

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for promoting Bluestones Home Loan products and policies in the 3rd party broker channel. In this role you will uncover brokers needs by using a broker fact find and needs analysis. You will use solution based selling techniques with your brokers in your designated portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong trusted relationships with new and existing Brokers.
  • Generate new Bluestone broker leads and close sales through a combination of prospecting and relationship development.
  • Drive market activity and increase in new applications from existing brokers via a consistent and effective engagement plan.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and teams to effectively position our products and solutions in market.
  • Maintain an organised pipeline and activity records using our CRM.
  • Prepare a quarterly plan & a consistent call plan of face to face online meetings and proactive calls.
  • Participate in networking and other broker events such as PD days coffee clusters and conferences.
  • Provide best-in-class service responsiveness and problem-solving.
  • Participate in external events and social engagements to build relationships with Brokers and boost our branding efforts.

Your Experience

  • Prior relationship management skills and proven sales results.
  • Minimum 2 years of lending experience.
  • Prior BDM experience in the third-party broker market.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work as a team player.
  • Self-reliant and results driven.
  • A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.

  • Have exemplary communication collaboration and critical thinking skills.
  • Understand how to use data metrics and external market insights to drive and influence decisions.
  • Be proactive self-reliant and results-driven.
  • Hold valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
