Our top priority is safety and were open 363 days a year come rain or shine. As a Guest Experience Associate youll create a lasting impression on our guests by providing them with a clean friendly and safe environment. Youll be responsible for keeping the zoo clean and tidy setting up events operating rides and managing attraction areas such as the Play Park 4D Theatre Splash Pad Animal Carousel and the Train. Your meticulous attention to detail will leave a lasting impression on our guests. Youll be assigned to a specific area where youll maintain a welcoming environment both indoors and outdoors. This will include cleaning and washing down attractions rides walkways outside dining areas picnic areas and play park areas both in public and non-public areas. Youll also be responsible formaintaining cleanlinessin restrooms trash/recycling receptacles restaurants gift shops and buildings. This roleconsistently is providing excellent customer service. Youll need to have patience and be willing to maintain cleanliness standards while responding professionally to requests such as spills debris overflow and assisting lost guests. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to work outdoors and indoors under all environmental conditions and temperatures.
- Ability to transport and move items for short distances and or up to 50 pounds occasionally without difficulty.
- Ability to ascend/ descend ladders steps and uneven terrain while maintaining body equilibrium while performing various jobs.
- Ability to consistently remain on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization on foot and/or operate a motorized cart.
- Exceptional visual acuity required along with the ability to communicate comprehend and decipher information accurately using a two-way radio.
- Manual dexterity for standing reaching flexibility and body movement for bending crouching walking kneeling stoop bend lift kneel crawl climb jump dig and prolonged standing.
- Grasp turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization on foot and/or by a motorized cart.
- Visual and auditory acuity appropriate plant care for safety and to discern differences in documents/labels.
