Front-End React Developer (Contractor)
Location: Remote (Open to candidates in USA and Canada)
Duration: 6 Months (Extendible)
Pay Rate: CAD $40/hr. C2C All Inclusive for Canada & USD $44/hr. for USA based Candidates
About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer (React) to work on a high-impact project for a global digital payments and card issuing platform. You will join a team building modern contact center tools that enable superior customer support experiences for a growing international user base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed within an Agile Scrum team consisting of frontend and full-stack engineers
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and Design stakeholders
- Develop user interfaces for new global customer onboarding and support features
- Deliver pixel-perfect high-quality and well-tested React components
- Write and maintain unit tests; conduct code reviews to ensure best practices
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- 5 years of professional experience in front-end development
- Strong expertise in and building web-based CRUD interfaces
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with GraphQL and
- Hands-on experience with AWS Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in unit testing frameworks like Jest or Vitest
- Experience working in large scalable frontend applications
- Understanding of SSO OAuth 2 and secure authentication flows
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Quick to onboard adaptable and proactive in delivery
Nice to Haves:
- Previous work in the FinTech or Payments industry
- Experience building contact center applications/tools
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Knowledge of end-to-end testing tools like Cypress
- Familiarity with Auth0 and role-based access control (RBAC)
