Job Description
Performs trouble shooting for various vehicle system i.e. electrical mechanical hydraulics fuel power train suspension etc. Also performs a board range of assembly tasks in the plant. Such function may include but are not limited to assembly cycling and preparation & shipment and inspection. Serves as a resource to other team members. Auto/ heavy equipment Mechanical skills needed.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Education Experience & Skills
Works from engineering drawings such as assembly hydraulic electrical drawings including schematics and pictorials technical manuals and station instruction sheets.
Performs troubleshooting tasks on vehicle systems such as electrical mechanical functional hydraulics fuel power train suspension etc.
Performs functional testing of vehicles according to final inspection requirements (FIR).
Performs assembly tasks in all stations as required.
Performs material handling tasks and moving functions using hand and power equipment as required
Conducts test and prepares test reports
Assesses current vehicle status noting parts to replace parts missing and overhaul condition and documents assessment information
Preferred Education Experience & Skills
Work requires the level of general educational development equivalent to that normally acquired by completing vocational training in vehicle mechanical and electrical component/system assembly and necessary troubleshooting to ensure proper operation/function.
Prefer 1-2 years of related experience in vehicle conversion/maintenance
Requires the ability to read and interpret work instructions engineering drawings electrical schematics and diagrams.
Inspect work with precision measuring instruments
Must be able to demonstrate skill proficiencies in each of the production assembly stations and final processing functions
