Job Description

Ergon Terminaling seeks a full-time Fired Equipment Coordinator to join our team in Ennis Texas. The Fired Equipment Coordinator is a support position for the Ergon Corporate Maintenance Group. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Maintenance Fired Equipment division and drives growth through continuous improvement efforts. This position supports the management development and implementation of operational systems policies and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors or associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in an industrial environment and office management
  • Prefer background that involved some type of boiler-related experience familiar with various boiler parts and materials
  • Requires a self-motivated individual with strong leadership communication and organization skills. Collaboration and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance Microsoft Windows Word Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in reporting data analysis spreadsheets databases and/or presentation Software
  • Able to receive and give feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of Channels
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen background check and MVR

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to the Fired Equipment Supervisor to include parts management thermal assessments and Hartford inspections
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of work orders in SAP/MaintainX/Work Order Dashboard from initiation to completion
  • Implementation and ongoing management of MaintainX in daily operations to manage spare parts inventory work orders procedures and compliance programs
  • Develop track and improve databases associated with Fired Equipment and Work Order Management Annual PM scheduling and Fired Equipment Master database
  • Duties include parts receiving spare parts/equipment inventory generating purchase orders (POs) and processing invoice payments
  • Manage the Fired Equipment vehicle fleet to ensure updated tag registrations mileage logs truck inventories maintenance service and DOT inspections
  • Manage equipment in SAP by building new SAP files gathering data for equipment information and updating the location of equipment as work orders are completed
  • Promote and aid in maintaining clean and well-organized shops offices and fleet vehicles
  • Promote maintenance/continuous improvement best practice initiatives and goals for application in the field
  • Identify inefficiencies and promote areas where improvements can be made such as 5S activities equipment/tool evaluation data tracking etc.
  • Able to assign work tasks to Fired Equipment technicians based upon individual techs proficiency level in the event the supervisor is unable to do so
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials ensure the best pricing and manage good vendor relationships
  • Coordinate equipment calibrations to ensure equipment and PPE are fit for service. (Multi meters combustion analyzer H2S monitors SAGE units)
  • Keep up with dates and notifications for PPE and equipment calibrations
  • Available for occasional out-of-town and overnight assignments
  • Other miscellaneous maintenance duties as requested
