Matthews Bus Alliance is the Thomas School Bus Dealer for the State of Florida. We perform all warranty repairs on Thomas Built School buses as well as perform some retail repairs at the county School Bus yards as well as individual customer locations.
Our repairs consist of: Thomas - Body Freightliner - ChassisCummins - Engine AC and basic wheelchair lifts. We do not work on internal engines transmissions or do any body work.
The main office is located in Orlando FL but we have technicians living all over the state of Florida based out of their own area.We are currently seeking someone for the Collier County area
Mobile Technician workis performed under limited supervision and reports directly to the Mobile Service Manager.
Our techs work out of a provided service van that has all of the supplies you need other than your personal tools.
Must have the ability to use diagnostic computer programs.
Must have great customer service and be willing to learn.
Valid Clean driving record background check and drug test required.

Service Manager - Donna Matura:
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Repair School Buses
- Document work and repairs performed
- Maintain parts inventory
Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous experience as a Bus /Truck Mechanic is preferred
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able toaccess a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching squatting and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
