Have you worked with hardware testing or within product development for some years Do you want to work in an innovative company with our next generation of products Then we have the job for you! We are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to the head office in Tumba Stockholm.
Role and responsibilities
You will be working in Product Development performing environmental testing on our products before launch. DeLaval products must operate reliably in one of the most difficult environments you can think of the cow barn. In this role your main responsibility will be to verify that our products can withstand the conditions in which they are installed.
You will mainly be working in our own lab facilities in Tumba but the job may require some traveling.
Some tests such as corrosion vibration and others are conducted at external laboratories. In these cases you will be responsible for coordinating the testing and maintaining contact with the external lab. Your role will involve planning and coordinating multiple test activities in parallel performing hands-on hardware tests and reporting test results to projects and stakeholders within DeLaval.
Each test assignment functions as a small project so if you have experience as a test lead or are interested in stepping into that kind of role this could be a great fit. You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in teams. Much of the work is hands-on and you will be working toward milestones and deadlines for each test assignment.
