Cloud Network Operations Engineer

Job Description Position Cloud Network Operations Engineer / Manager Work Location Navi Mumbai Scope Provide subject matter expertise for the 24x7 operational support for network components in various cloud environments. Provide expertise on the installation management configuration and troubleshooting expertise on these clouds. Maintaining Service Level Agreement (SLA) or OLA (Operational Level Agreement) of highest standards and Turn-Around Time (TAT) as agreed. Attend RFPs for various Cloud implementation requirements for both Public as well as Private (on premise) Cloud HCI requirements. Private cloud could be Azure HCI or RedHat OpenStack. Assist with automation of mundane tasks for the cloud operations team. Technical Skills Strong understanding of different cloud IaaS & PaaS services on Azure AWS & GCP Cloud networking concepts and Hands-on experiences of various Azure resources- Azure Firewall NVA firewall Azure Load Balancer App Gateway Express Routes S2S & P2S VPNs NSGs VNet & VNet Peering Subnets Virtual Network Gateway NAT Gateway Traffic Manager Front Door CDN (Content Delivery Network) Private End Points Private Link Service Azure Bastion Host Azure Monitor Alerts and Log Analytics etc. Knowledge and experience of Private cloud i.e. Azure HCI stack VMware NSX or RedHat OpenStack would be a great value add. Knowledge of Azure Site recovery Hybrid cloud & multi cloud setups Understanding of migration scenarios. Technical OEM certifications for cloud environments Responsibilities The key responsibilities are highlighted below. The candidate is Expected to build deploy configure manage & troubleshoot network components in a cloud environment Work closely with business/application support teams to understand and deploy the agreed solution. Key responsibility would be to recover the service from any outage and ensure timely performance management activities are being carried out. Expected to provide advance level of support to be provided for ensuring that the SLA/ OLA/ TAT parameters are met. Assist in the architecture design and build of the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure and GCP Provisioning managing Azure Infrastructure ARM templates Azure Blueprints Design implementation of Solutions on Microsoft Platform components Create architectural and migration roadmap for Azure solution. Leverage tools to automate AWS/Azure & GCP networking tasks Expected to prepare RCA reports and suggest mitigation strategies. Requirements Should have technical hands on experience for at least 1 public cloud provider Knowledge or experience of using Enterprise Service Management tools for automated testing Monitoring (for OS Network Applications etc.) Event correlation engines Service desk (ITIL compliance workflow and Self Service) etc. Vendor certification by cloud provider preferred Demonstrated problem solving skills strong conceptual and analytical skills along-with ability to work as an effective team member. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
