Automotive Machine Shop Technician Hammond IN
Our Auto Value store in Hammond IN is currently seeking a person for an Automotive Machine Shop Technician.
The successful applicant will need past experience grinding crank shafts and proven use and understanding of a micrometer.
This position also includes but not limited to:
- Customer Satisfaction
- Complete projects as assigned by manager.
- Overall machine shop cleanliness.
- Work with the Manager to better communications / service.
- Automotive mechanical expertise in engine teardown.
- Ability to follow direction; read and understand common danger placards/labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans
- Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
- Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation laws and policies

- Full time: 8 hour shift Monday-Friday

- Pass Physical & Drug Screen
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
- Preferred Experience in an Automotive Machine Shop
