The City of Bothell Fire Department is currently building a list of applicant profiles from National Testing Network (NTN) to create an eligibility list. The City anticipates several vacancies needing to be filled in January 2026.
To be considered for this round of hiring all testing and application submissions must be completed by 5:00PM PST July 11 2025.

Tentative Recruitment Timeline:MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Age Requirement:Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older by certification date of eligibility list.
Educational Requirement:Candidates must have a high school diploma or have passed an equivalency test (GED).
Drivers License: Upon employment and while employed must hold and continuously maintain a valid Washington State Drivers License.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check psychological examination medical examination and drug screen test.
All applicants shall be a citizen of the United States of America a lawful permanent resident or a deferred action for childhood arrivals recipient (DACA) who can read and write the English language.
