We are looking for a Technical Officer Roofing Systems and Insulation to support our Construction Research Centre. The Technical Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity Excellence Respect and Creativity.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical support in the design planning execution and analysis of laboratory and field experiments related to roofing materials and systems. Key responsibilities include conducting airflow measurements for roof ventilation systems performing rain simulation testing on green roofs and designing and maintaining instrumentation and data acquisition systems. The role also involves data analysis and the preparation of laboratory reports and technical documentation.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering in one of the following areas: Civil Environmental Chemical Mechanical or Building Engineering is required.
An equivalent combination of work-related experience training and education may also be considered.
