Job Description

MUNICPAL JUDGE

The City of Kaukauna is accepting applications to fill the vacancy for Municipal Judge. This will be filled as an appointment to the position by the City Council. This vacancy is to fill a portion of the existing term through a special election to be held in Spring 2026.
TheMunicipal Judge is responsible for impartially carrying out all duties and responsibilities of the Municipal Court in accordance with the City of Kaukauna Municipal Code and any applicable State and/or Federal Laws affecting the Court. Responsible for the administration of Teen Court.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be 18 years of age a Citizen of the United States of America reside within the corporate limits of the City of Kaukauna at the time the application is submitted and not have been convicted of a felony in any court in the United States unless duly pardoned.
To Apply:
The application period will open beginning June 4 2025. Interested and eligible residents should submit a Letter of Interest to fill the vacant Municipal Judge position.
The deadline for application is June 30 2025 by 4:00 p.m. Interviews are planned to be held during the Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday July 7 2025 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at:
144 W. 2nd Street
Kaukauna WI 54130.
