Job Description

As a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine Howard County General Hospital is a 266-bed acute care facility that has been serving the community for nearly 40 years. The Weekend Alternative Radiology Technologist will work a minimum of 24 hours every weekend (Friday evening through Sunday night). Rad Techs earn a higher pay rate and are eligible for medical dental and vision benefits at the full time rate. Weekend positions can earn up to 72 hours of paid time off/holiday time annually.

Diagnostic Techs may gain experience in:

  • Emergency
  • Inpatient
  • Inpatient/Emergency portables
  • OR
  • Floroscopy
  • Pediatrics

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland.
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Technologists that are required to start IVs must complete IV certification by HCGH.
  • No experience is required. One year experience is preferred

Shift:

24 hours per week

10:30am - 11:00pm

Saturday/Sunday

Salary Range: Minimum$31.92/hour - Maximum$52.69/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
