Job Description
- Handle all aspects of insurance defense matters (auto slip and fall construction products liability and property damage matters) including discovery court appearances depositions/examinations under oath expert issues and client management;
- Conduct legal research;
- Draft pleadings briefs motions discovery required client reports;
- Render opinions on liability damages and case value; and
- Appear before courts and arbitrators/mediators.
- JD from an accredited law school;
- Admitted to practice law in New Jersey;
- 3-5 years of defense litigation experience;
- Experience with insurance defense auto slip and fall and construction litigation;
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced team-oriented environment;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients;
- Excellent research skills;
- Computer proficiency;
- Ability to maintain/enter billable time;
- Ability to prioritize assignments and case load; and
- Ability to meet client deadlines.
