About this Roll* (Responsibilities)
Toast is establishing a Product Analytics & Insights function and were looking for a Director to lead its formation and long-term success. This is a foundational leadership role with significant strategic influence and visibility. You will define the vision build the team and lead the charge in enabling data-informed product development across the company.
You will be responsible for shaping the future of product analytics at Toastbuilding a self-service insights culture exploring applications of AI and emerging technologies and eventually integrating data science capabilities that empowers every product team to make fast confident and customer-centric decisions.
While youll oversee adoption of core tools like Amplitude your north star is broader: enabling an insights ecosystem where data is discoverable accessible and actionable. Youll work to remove friction in how product teams access behavioral and sentiment data define metrics experiment at scale and understand user needs across the product lifecycle.
This role sits within the Product Operations team at Toast. The Product Operations team is on a mission to empower our Product teams to build great products efficiently effectively and at scale. We remove obstacles foster alignment and help teams focus on what matters mostsolving real problems for our customers. Operating at the intersection of Product UX Engineering Marketing and Customer Success we ensure that teams are equipped with the right processes strategies and insights to drive meaningful impact.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime bonus/commissions if eligible) benefits and equity (if eligible).
