Job Description: In this role the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker will help each consumer reach a maximum level of self-sufficiency through individualized interventions as well as the support of an overall therapeutic milieu. Interventions are based on service plans developed collaboratively with individual consumers.

Location: Wyomissing PA
Program: Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Pay Rate: $17-20/hour
Job Functions:
- Provide services as defined by program description and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standards and Recovery model principles
- Provide assistance to the program coordinator as well as providing assistance/education in areas of medications budgeting self-care and supportive counseling to the program residents
- Provide services as dictated by client and program needs
- Monitor effectiveness of own service delivery based on outcome measures including Quality of Life Inventory consumer satisfaction surveys and treatment/service reviews. As needed makes changes to own service model for improved outcomes.
- Strong communications skills
- Develop and implement service plans as per program description
- Develop and maintain linkages with adjunct providers to coordinate consumer services
- Identify resources which are accessible and beneficial to clients and encourage their utilization
- Intervene appropriately in crisis situations
- Provide instruction and hands-on support to promote development of skills identified in service plans
- Support consumers in maintaining healthy relationships and resolving conflicts
- Must be compassionate flexible and knowledgeable of Supportive counseling
- Must be willing to assist with skill building including occasional hands on
- Maintain accurate records of billable services provided and submit records in a timely manner as dictated by the program
- Ability to be flexible with schedule changes/shift changes as needed
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
A psychiatric rehabilitation worker shall haveone of the following:
(1) A bachelors degree
(2) An associates degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service
(3) A CPS certificate and 1 additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service
(4) A high school diploma or GED and 2 years work experience in human services which must include 1 year of mental health direct service
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
Compensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance including a flexible spending account medical dental and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off 403(B) with company match and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program disability insurance employee recognition programs and referral bonuses.
