Custodian

Harts Bluff ISD is currently seeking for a full-time custodian

Primary Purpose:

To clean and maintain district facilities using routine procedures to ensure a high standard os safety cleanliness and efficiency in building operations and grounds.

Qualifications:

Education/Certificate:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to read and understandinstructions related to cleaning maintenance and safety

Aptitude for completingassigned task efficiently and thoroughly

Ability to operate cleaning equipmentand lift materials and equipment

Ability to handle and store cleaning supplies safely and properly

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others

Ability to speak and read English

Experience:

Previous cleaning experience (preferred)

Major Responsibilities and Duties

Clean and sanitizeclassrooms restrooms corridors offices cafeterias and other designated areas.

Maintain clean and orderly campus grounds including sidewalks and recreational areas.

Follow regulations and procedures for safe storage and disposalof trash and waste.

Assist in tracking inventory and requesting cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
