The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Cloud Engineering Data & AI team you are expected to design develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework. As an Associate you are focused on learning and contributing to projects through support tasks while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on software development projects using Java
- Assist in designing and implementing software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving software issues
- Contribute to documentation and technical specifications
- Support team members in achieving project goals
- Learn and adapt to new programming methodologies
- Uphold coding standards and practices
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of experience in software engineering
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- 2 years of experience in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JMS
- Knowledge of containerized deployments
- Understanding of financial applications especially payment/wires preferred
- Proven experience in developing multi-threaded applications
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
