Reporting to the Orange Door Coordinator this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children young people and families impacted by family violence and other complex challenges. As a key member of a passionate and multidisciplinary team the Orange Door Senior Child Wellbeing Practitioner will be the first point of compassionate contact for women and children seeking safety support and hope.
More than just a frontline role the Orange Door Senior Child Wellbeing Practitioner will be the calm in the crisisproviding vital information conducting thoughtful and trauma-informed risk assessments and helping to shape the most appropriate support pathways. Youll be both a steady hand and a trusted guide helping those in vulnerable situations begin their journey toward safety and recovery.
In addition to engaging directly with clients this role will play a vital support function within the broader teamcontributing insight sharing knowledge and collaborating to ensure a cohesive and responsive service for those in need.
This is a Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) opportunity based in Sunshine within our The Orange Door Family Servicesprogram. The position reports to the Orange Door Coordinator.
