Job Description
Responsibilities
Overview:
As a Mid-Level Systems Engineer you will apply a multidisciplinary approach to systems engineering tasks across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) and various Federal Agencies. Your work will ensure the delivery of timely accurate and reliable GEOINT capabilities by addressing requirements engineering solution design system integration testing maintainability and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform requirements engineering solution design scheduling reliability resiliency analysis integration testing and evaluation across NSG ASG and federal systems.
Analyze and trace user needs and system architectures and identify opportunities to enhance or automate existing systems.
Assess and review cloud service capabilities workflows and scheduling constraints.
Translate mission and customer needs into system and capability requirements.
Support system architecture development and allocation of requirements across components and programs.
Conduct system integration and support end-to-end technical efforts.
Assist in conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) Course of Actions (CoAs) trade studies and engineering evaluations.
Contribute to strategic technical planning project management risk assessment and interface design activities.
Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Computer Science Imagery Analysis or a related STEM field or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
- 6 years of working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process Requirements Process PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud on premise or hybrid infrastructures.
- 6 years of experience working systems engineering in government or industry.
- Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience.
- Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering processes tools and languages.
- Experience in integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools (HSI).
- Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and successfully pass a polygraph.
