Job Description
- Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted properly within budget and with excellent patient care and customer service
- Responsible for strategic decisions including appropriate staffing levels operational efficiency andregulatory compliance
- Providethe highest possible quality pharmacy services leading the team to build exceptional customer relationshipsquality assurance and customer retention
- Developand implementsystem and processimprovements to provide unparalleled pharmacy services
- Participatein the development of the budget and monitoring financial reports relating to performance
- Review and improve inventory and prior authorization/refill processes
- Maintainappropriate inventory and keeprecords as required
- Developand managecost containment programs including DURs
- Manage human resources includinghiring training advancement and retention of staff
- BS Pharmacy orPharm D degree
- Current pharmacy license in MN (or eligible to reciprocate)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with proven track record of building and coaching successful teams
- 5 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced pharmacy operation. Experience in long term care pharmacy setting a plus.
- Experience in Frameworks or QS1 preferred.
