What You Do

The Front Desk Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for the properties we manage and will entail resident package log outs answering phone calls monitoring the security cameras and building access reporting any emergencies to the manager and reporting any fire alarms to 911. The position is Monday-Friday 11pm-7am every other week.

Requirements
  • Staffs the lobby desk monitoring the entrance greeting and assisting residents and visitors entering or exiting the building answering resident inquiries logging resident issues or concerns and notifying the appropriate individual of any security concerns.
  • Monitors security cameras exterior doors to the building and maintain a secure environment for residents.
  • Accepts deliveries keeps the package log and notifies residents of their deliveries.
  • Handles building communications including sending announcements via email and to individual units notifying units of scheduled inspections and posting notices.
  • The assistant keeps the email roster up-to-date adds/edits names to the call box and handles fob registration.
  • Monitors vendors and contractors when they are in units.
  • Manages washing machine quarters; removes quarters from machines rolls quarters sells rolled quarters to residents and deposits funds in the propertys bank account. The assistant also cleans washing machines monthly by running the machines on empty with a cleaning solution.
  • Bundles recycling and composting bags and sells the bags to residents.
  • Follows all safety and security policies programs and procedures and functions in accordance with the propertys rules and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the assignment of duties that are logically related to the position.

Qualifications

  • The position requires a high school diploma and at least 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
  • Must have good technical skills and phone etiquette.
  • Must be able to deliver superior customer service and able to manage interacting with a variety of people from residents to vendors to delivery staff and contractors.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines as well as the ability to be neat and organized.
  • Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule for the long term.
