Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse / Forklift Operator
Location: Northeast Austin
Shift: 4am to 1pm
Employment Type: Full-Time ( Temp to Hire)
Hourly Rate: $19.00 (increase to $20 after probation period)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Order Puller to join our warehouse team. In this role you will be responsible for accurately pulling and preparing customer orders for shipment using a forklift. The ideal candidate must have experience operating forklifts a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pull orders from inventory based on customer requests ensuring accuracy and quality.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts ( stand-up and cherry picker) to move locate or load/unload products as needed.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by properly labeling organizing and storing materials in the warehouse.
Shipping & Receiving: Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing shrink-wrapping and ensuring all products are safely packed. Assist with receiving incoming shipments as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience including forklift operation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 lbs stand for extended periods and work in varying warehouse conditions (e.g. heat cold).
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality when pulling orders and handling products.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment while meeting productivity goals.
