Department Overview
CommandCentral Records & CAD teams are responsible for developing new cloud-hosted products that streamline the capture correlation and real-time distribution of mission-critical information enabling improved dispatch decision-making increased responder awareness and safety as well as smart and context-aware information retrieval. Both products are aimed at public safety (police firefighters military) and commercial businesses. The team is responsible for an end-to-end software development life-cycle that includes development testing and maintenance of the systems we build.We work in small & distributed teams of 6-7 engineers.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Software Frontend Architect to lead the design development and evolution of our frontend architecture. This role is crucial in shaping the user experience of our digital products through scalable maintainable and high-performance frontend solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams mentor developers and set the strategic direction for frontend technologies and best practices.
More about the project: main Tech Stack: Angular 17 -> 19 Typescript JavaScript W3C Technologies Distributed Systems Microservices AWS Docker/Kubernetes etc.
Basic Requirements
An experienced and hands-on Javascript programmer (Angular Typescript Javascript or any other language high-level programming language)
Practical experience in the development and maintenance of large size web applications
An expert in either Angular or web technologies
Practical experience in leading the design and architecture of software systems
Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision
A great team player - able to work with a team of other senior engineers
Good verbal and written English communication.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Math or related fields.
Would be a plus:
An experience in automating the deployment of software
Experience with hosting and developing applications using public cloud (Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure)
ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain scalable modular and maintainable frontend architectures.
Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards including libraries frameworks and APIs.d maintain scalable modular and maintainable frontend architectures.
Collaborate with product managers designers and backend architects to define and align on product vision.
Lead technical discussions and evaluate trade-offs in performance scalability and usability.
