Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules (within Internal Manufacturing departments and (limited) from external Suppliers (limited).
Plan and schedule material / production needs. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Refine Define and help the team to executes standard operational / technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage SAP master planning (factory wise) in terms of Production Planning processes and systems prepare and update production schedules and coordinate the weekly MPS Capacity needsversus available.
- Good knowledge of S&OP.
- Forecast review and analysis monitor and recommend actions to maintain key business objectives.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Contribute as team member in the optimization of inventory (raw material WIP and FG) and process improvements.
- Good understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
- Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Project based Interaction with Suppliers for Improvement activities ( on time delivery logistics communication Inventory)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and may be required to lead within a team. Explains technical information to others.
Required Qualifications:
- This role requires relevant experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college certification with relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in ERP system strong SAP knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Desired Characteristics:
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document plan market and execute programs.
- Knowledge of Smartsheets.
