Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related subject is required.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is highly preferred.
- Can commute to the office in downtown Miami.
- At least 5 years of HR management experience in an organization that offers legal services preferably a law firm
- Proficiency in Spanish holds considerable advantage.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing approaches to foster positive relationships between the employer and employees
- Overseeing benefits administration tasks which could involve handling insurance renewals managing enrollment periods and maintaining responsibility for benefits terminations
- Handling investigations relating to employee complaints or concerns
- Supervising and developing our Human Resources team
- Addressing employee behavior coaching disciplinary activities or terminations when necessary
- Maintaining accurate comprehensive and organized employee records
- Supervising employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Managing our 401k plan including observing discrimination testing requirements and completing the required forms
- Creating talent acquisition and retention strategies to attract the best talent
- Overseeing risk management activities related to HR matters
- Overseeing annual performance and compensation review processes
- Developing and implementing HR policies procedures and programs in accordance with state and federal employment laws.
Skills and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment regulations.
- In-depth understanding of payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Expertise with HRIS and talent management systems.
- Forward-thinking strategic-focused individual capable of aligning HR initiatives with corporate objectives.
- High emotional intelligence servant leadership mentality and a sense of personal responsibility.
- Must satisfy ethical standards and value integrity.
Compensation: Base salary range of $130000 to $160000 per year with fully comprehensive benefits $401k health care.
