We are hiring a Security Site Supervisor to work at an industrial location in Joliet IL .
Great schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Security Supervisors include but are not limited to:
Oversee daily yard operations including comprehensive yard checks and trailer management
Maintain accurate real-time tracking of trailer count and yard inventory
Supervise inbound and outbound loads
Ensure strict adherence to operational protocols and safety standards
Manage and develop team members providing clear guidance and performance expectations
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement strategies
Troubleshoot operational challenges and develop efficient solutions
Maintain comprehensive documentation of yard activities and trailer movements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years experience as a security officer or directly related position
Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) including state accredited training requirements.
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read write speak and understand English
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Able to meet physical essential functions of the job which can include lifting 50 lbs completing foot patrols walking up and down stairs working in inclement weather
Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
Bi-lingual considered a plus.
