Job Description

This position ensures the posting of room fees related taxes and other paid services billed to guest accounts. Additional responsibilities would include resolving account discrepancies and preparing detailed financial reports on a nightly basis. This individual will also serve as the Manager on Duty and will supervise overnight desk agents

Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills be knowledgeable of the area possess excellent computer skills and must enjoy working with numbers. Superb written and verbal communication skills are a must and the candidate should be able to adapt to working overnight shifts on a regular leadership abilities are attributes that are required for this position. What Youll Do:

Are you a night owl Do you enjoy working with and balancing numbers For us impeccable service never stops. The Night Audit Supervisor is responsible for maintaining guest standards overnight reviewing the propertys balances from the previous day and supervising guests and associates during the overnight hours.

Some of your nightly duties include:

  • Balancing paperwork cash drawer deposits reconciling credit cards and submitting batches
  • Input into the front office system revenue expenses and allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Completing front desk duties including check-ins/outs room scheduling room moves late checkouts stay-overs and other requests from guests.
  • Answer guests questions about the hotel services and amenities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have 2 or more years of Hotel Front Office and /or Night Audit experience
  • Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate must be able to prepares financial reports
  • Candidate must have experience with cash handling and accounting procedures
  • Candidate must be able to work overnight hours 11:00pm 7:00am

Where Youve Been:

Were looking for someone with 2-3 years of related experience the ability to supervise and work evening/overnight shifts and has strong computer skills. But most importantly you must be a people-person! You will need to always interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way fulfilling requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner. If you dont work well under pressure this wont be a great fit.
