Job Description

THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The primary objective is to support the Fire Forester in mitigating the effects of wildfires within the district through a comprehensive and structured approach to forest fire prevention pre-suppression and suppression initiatives. This role is crucial in delivering optimal services to the community while ensuring the maintenance and readiness of district fire equipment and facilities. By leveraging specialized skills and extensive job knowledge the individual will work efficiently and effectively to enhance the overall fire management strategy thereby safeguarding both the environment and public safety.
