Job Description
Emerson is looking for a Project Engineer for our office in Cluj (Romania). The primary purpose of the role is the technical and commercial engineering of solutions proposals and subsequent execution of assigned high complex instrumentation Tier 2 & 3 PMO projects ensuring our contractual commitments are fulfilled whilst maximizing our customers satisfaction and achieving the internally agreed level of profitability.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Act as main technical interface with the Customer and EPC contractor.
- Prepare technical and commercial bidsensuring that all technical clarifications are discussed and closed beforeorder placement; the PMO Project Engineer is highly involved in all project stages starting from the Proposal until the end of Execution faze.
- Analyze complex customer specifications comments on the specification and find competitive optimized solutionsfor their benefit.
- Deliver compliant high-quality engineering solutions while meeting project requirements and minimizing negative impact to Rosemount.
- Develop project standards and maintain knowledge of products and applications.
- Align with sales for proposal development attend and lead technical discussions in customer project meetings.
- Collaborate with PMO team (Project Manager Project Administrator and Documentation Controller) to manage contractual obligations throughout the project cycle.
- Support project administration in processing customer orders and documentation within Emerson business systems.
- Transfer relevant project technical knowledge to internal partners for successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Emerson Trade Compliance and Ethical Business policies applying PMO project methodology to all projects.

For This Role You Will Need:
- HNC/Degree level in an engineering field or equivalent or relevant experience in the industry.
- Candidates should have proven 2 years experience in a technically similar project.
- Able to communicate clearly with customers on both technical and commercial issues.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent Think Customer values delivering first class customer service and commitment to continually improve internal processes.
- Flexibility with business travel.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- LEAN awareness preferable
- Product and Business Systems awareness
- PMI/Prince certification or equivalent preferred
